About the Role

Apply data science and analytics to real mission problems for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Join a collaborative team turning large, complex geospatial datasets into actionable insights. Work with modern Python-based tooling in an Agile, mission-focused delivery environment. Grow your skills alongside senior data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop analytic models and data processing workflows against structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Clean, filter, transform, and enrich data to support exploratory and production analytics.
  • Build visualizations and dashboards for exploratory and comparative analysis.
  • Support integration of analytic capabilities into program systems alongside development teams.
  • Collaborate with analysts and Product Owners to refine analytic requirements into working solutions.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and model behavior.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver within sprint and PI commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
  • 4+ years of data science or analytics experience.
  • Proficiency in Python (or R) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience applying statistical analysis, classification, regression, or clustering techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (matplotlib, Tableau, or similar).
  • Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with willingness to undergo polygraph examination.
