About the Role
As a PRN Automation Pharmacy Technician 4, you will gain hands-on experience with Omnicell's cutting-edge XR2 system and play a vital role in improving patient care by transforming medication management through innovative automation technology.
Responsibilities
- Operate Omnicell automation systems at customer sites following SOPs and best practices.
- Manage inventory levels and perform restocking duties.
- Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of XR2 equipment.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a liaison between Omnicell and the customer.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- An Active New York State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration.
- An Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA CPhT / ExCPT).
- Working knowledge of pharmacy automation.
- Accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program completion.
- 2+ years of hospital pharmacy automation experience.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with automation devices.
