About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role is critical to managing business insights and monthly analysis. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing treasury analysis including cash flow forecast, monitoring currency obligations, developing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring cost-effective and compliant currency operations, and measuring the impact of fx movements on our business.
Responsibilities
- Provide consolidated insights and monthly analysis of financial results
- Build and analyze profitability models by line of business and region
- Prepare monthly ad-hoc presentations for senior executives
- Prepare analyses of key cost and revenue components to assist in driving improved financial performance
- Identify, track, and monitor commercial opportunities for value creation
- Develop a treasury dashboard to monitor forex exposures, cash requirements, KPIs, and other compliance matters
- Work with the CFO and VP Finance on appropriate hedging strategies (e.g., forward contracts, natural hedging) to minimize FX risk in line with the company’s risk tolerance
- Reconcile FX transactions and provide regular reporting on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance
Requirements
- At least 3 years of advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience
- Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, financial instruments, and hedging techniques
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
- CFA and/or CPA Certification is an advantage
- Experience with treasury management systems is a plus
- Experience in collaborating with and presenting to senior executives
- Experience working in the travel industry and travel management
