About the Role
The Head of Engineering - Applied AI owns V2’s engineering capability end to end, focusing on technical standards, platform development, and engineering team growth. This role is about making engineering squads faster, safer, and more consistent by setting AI-native development lifecycle and agentic engineering standards, building reusable assets, and growing the engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Own V2’s engineering capability end to end.
- Set AI-native development lifecycle (AI-DLC) and agentic engineering standards.
- Build reusable assets, accelerators, reference architectures, and shared tooling.
- Establish certification pathways and structured Dojo tracks for engineers.
- Set technical hiring standards.
Requirements
- A track record leading a 100+ engineering organization in a highly regulated environment through rapid scale, ideally in consulting, professional services, or high-growth product environments.
- Deep, current technical fluency in modern AI systems: GenAI, agents, evaluation, AgentOps, and the lifecycles that take them to production.
- Experience building reusable platforms, accelerators, or internal developer platforms that other teams adopt because they work, not because they’re mandated.
- A builder’s approach to capability: certification, coaching, and structured development at scale.
