About the Role

P&G Professional is the commercial division of Procter & Gamble focused on improving the lives of consumers away from home. The Senior Field Service Technician (FST) is a field-based position working independently to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment and other equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations, aiming to deliver exceptional service for customer retention and superior customer service. Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment and other equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations.
Deliver exceptional service to ensure customer retention and superior customer service.
Work independently in a field-based position.
Lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
Push and pull objects up to 50 lbs.
Climb vertical ladders and stairs.
Stand, sit, and/or walk for long periods, with twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and reaching on various surfaces.
Operate a computer keyboard for data input and access.
Operate a motor vehicle, spending approximately 30% of the day traveling.
Work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold), including warehouse conditions with temperature variances, dust, and dirt.
Be eligible to be onsite at customer locations to conduct business, service, and maintenance.
Provide on-call coverage, which may include occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Occasional overnight travel is required.
Must live in the specified city.
Must be eligible to be onsite at our customers to conduct business, service and maintenance, consistent with occupational health and safety requirements.

Skills

Basic understanding in electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot with root cause analysis.
Moderate working knowledge of appropriate tools, data, implements, and service needs.
Proficient in laptop and cell phone technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Ability to give and discern various visual and audible alarms and signals for equipment startup, evacuation, and fires.
