About the Role
This position provides a broad range of assistance and support to the Company Secretary and Director, Office of the CEO to ensure the effective and efficient administration of company secretariat functions to the Opera House’s Board and Executive Team.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of meeting dates and room set-up
- Drafting and formatting of agendas, papers and minutes
- Working with electronic board paper applications and document management systems
- Establishing trust, credibility and rapport with people at all levels within the organisation, as well as with Board members and their assistants
- Communicating effectively through strong oral and written skills
- Maintaining a highly organised and methodical approach to work
- Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
- Corporate secretariat experience
- Ability to establish trust, credibility and rapport with people at all levels within the organisation, as well as with Board members and their assistants
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to draft meeting agendas, papers and minutes
- Highly organised and methodical approach to work, including a passion for accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Existing Australian work rights
- Satisfactory National Police Check
- Satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment

Salary/Compensations
- Base salary of $103,520 per annum plus 12% Superannuation Contributions
