About the Role
Contribute to maintaining competitive advantage as a pharmaceutical company that delivers excellent products to as many patients as possible and continues to reinvest in science for patients.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand market environment, customers, products, and portfolio to formulate product strategy.
- Plan, negotiate, execute, and review events (e.g., TV lectures).
- Plan, create, execute, and review promotional materials (e.g., brochures, presentation slides, MR-kun content).
- Correctly interpret market research results and create materials based on hypotheses derived from the findings.
- Communicate sales action plans to the sales department through various methods.
- Manage Key External Experts (KEEs).
- Propose systems for measuring marketing and sales activities and collaborate with other departments to build internal systems.
- Share and coordinate activities with other departments, including the Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence, and Pharmacovigilance departments.
Requirements
- Experience leading the creation and execution of strategies with cross-functional teams.
- 5+ years of sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in sales and marketing in the lung cancer field is a plus.
- Ability to achieve brand goals.
- Questioning and analytical skills to identify issues through interactions with physicians.
- Ability to objectively assess situations, accurately analyze the current state, and identify issues to address.
- Ability to formulate hypotheses from facts such as customer insights and market research results.
- Ability to take action to solve problems.
- Willingness to challenge oneself without settling into one's comfort zone and to try new initiatives and approaches to achieve goals.
- Ability to collaborate with related departments to achieve results as a cross-functional team and communication skills for smooth collaboration.
- Proficiency in creating documents using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to utilize IT systems used within the company.
- Sufficient Japanese communication skills.
- TOEIC score of 800 or higher.
