About the Role
The Hampton Inn & Suites Albany Airport is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves providing outstanding customer service, handling inquiries, and assisting with administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items such as eggs, bacon, and sausage.
- Stock coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers.
- Arrange cold food items like sweet rolls, muffins, donuts, and cereal.
- Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
- Maintain cleanliness of appliances and counter space, including wiping up spills.
- Remove trash.
- Restock self-service food and supplies.
- Wash serving equipment and return it to storage.
- Perform all duties related to the preparation, setup, and service of the complimentary breakfast.
- Comply with hotel policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or a food service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Maintain professional working relationships and promote open communication with management and team members.
