About the Role
Gentle Dental is seeking a Part-Time General Dentist passionate about endodontics to dedicate the majority of their practice to root canal therapy and related procedures within the scope of general dentistry in California. This role offers a unique opportunity to focus on enjoyable procedures with the support of an established multi-specialty organization, receiving internal referrals while maintaining clinical autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Perform root canal therapy on anterior teeth, premolars, and molars.
- Conduct endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provide emergency endodontic treatment.
- Perform pulpotomies and pulpectomies.
- Manage endodontic emergencies and dental pain.
- Perform core buildups following endodontic treatment.
- Collaborate with specialists for complex cases.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Active California dental license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
- Current DEA registration, CPR certification, and NPI.
- Demonstrated experience and confidence performing endodontic procedures.
- Commitment to evidence-based dentistry and exceptional patient care.
- Excellent communication and treatment planning skills.
- Interest in building an endodontic-focused practice.
