About the Role
We are building the operating system for renewable energy and simplify the management of energy assets with Amperecloud Platform. We're looking for a product-first fullstack engineer to build the platform that 300+ energy operators rely on every day, monitoring 8,000+ solar and wind plants with more than 10 GWp under management. This is real-time, mission critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features across frontend and backend using Node.js, React, and microservices on Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain APIs connecting inverters, data loggers, and third-party systems.
- Work on ingestion, processing, and alerting for live telemetry from thousands of plants.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs before customers notice them, supported by Grafana and Prometheus.
- Work in an agile team where engineers shape decisions.
- Master the stack, ship platform features, and own platform areas within the first 6 months.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of professional experience shipping production software with Node.js and React.
- Experience shipping features in production and owning them end to end.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs.
- Comfortable working in a Kubernetes/microservices environment.
- Systematically track down issues.
- Fluent English.
- Act like an owner, spotting and fixing problems without waiting for permission.
- Make team members better through honest code reviews and shared context.
- Question the ticket before building it.
- Aim high, ship, learn from failures, and iterate with a better approach.
