About the Role
You will design and deliver electrical systems for critical infrastructure, including water, wastewater, municipal, and commercial projects, while mentoring team members and solving complex engineering challenges.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing electrical systems and recommend cost-effective improvements
- Design complete electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, generator systems, and controls
- Develop project designs from planning through construction
- Perform equipment evaluation and field verification
- Conduct site visits and witness testing
- Support construction-phase services
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with technical accuracy
- Lead and mentor junior engineers
- Provide quality control reviews for design documents
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 4+ years of experience in facility engineering
- Experience across project phases including planning, design, and construction
- Experience working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
