About the Role
The Social Media Associate & Creator supports the development and execution of social media and content strategies for Rosevale Cocktail Room and Starchild Rooftop. This hands-on role focuses on creating, producing, and editing digital content to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales while ensuring alignment with brand voice and marketing goals.
Responsibilities
- Create and post content across social media platforms.
- Capture and edit photo and video content, including short-form video for Reels and TikTok.
- Maintain the social media content calendar and ensure timely posting.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages professionally.
- Support on-site content capture at venues, events, and activations.
- Maintain up-to-date social media profiles.
- Assist with planning and coordinating photoshoots and video shoots.
- Coordinate with external social media agencies and content partners.
- Track performance metrics and share insights with the marketing team.
- Support influencer visits and ensure content deliverables are captured.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and align messaging.
- Assist with special projects, campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in social media or marketing roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Canva, Adobe, and Capcut.
- Expertise in social media platforms including Meta, X, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong visual storytelling skills with an eye for composition, lighting, and trends.
- Knowledge of market segments and channel sources.
- Passion for hospitality and food and beverage.
