About the Role

The Samples Coordinator will receive, pull, and ship flooring product samples and books, while also maintaining sample inventory. This role is crucial for supporting sales efforts and ensuring accurate product representation for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, pull, and ship samples and books for Account Executives, dealers, and clients.
  • Maintain sample inventory, including ordering replenishment from the mill.
  • Restock shelves with sample replenishment.
  • Order necessary supplies such as UPS boxes, labels, and sample bags.
  • Create space for new carpet collections and label shelving with SKUs.
  • Return inventory to shelves upon drop-off by Account Executives or clients.
  • Perform heavy lifting and organization tasks as directed by the Showroom Manager.
  • Maintain monthly sample tracking spreadsheets for each Account Executive.
  • Assist Account Executives, dealers, and clients with sample requests via email or in person.
  • Comply with safety rules and environmental regulations.
  • Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Computer knowledge and experience in Microsoft applications.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar work environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team is ideal.
  • Familiar with UPS CampusShip.
  • Stooping and climbing ladders.
  • Often lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Packing and shipping.
