About the Role
Assist the CE instructor in delivering hands-on training and support for the CNC Technician Training Program. Support the instructor in delivering high-quality CNC training to students, helping them develop the skills needed for success in machining and manufacturing careers.
Responsibilities
- Assist the instructor during class sessions by providing hands-on support to students with CNC equipment, tools, and exercises.
- Help set up and maintain CNC machines and training materials.
- Answer student questions and provide guidance during lab exercises and projects.
- Ensure the classroom and equipment are organized, clean, and ready for use.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the instructor on areas where additional support may be needed.
- Support safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards in the classroom and lab environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience with CNC machining, tools, and equipment is required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Employees are required to maintain a domicile in the State of Texas while working for the college and throughout the duration of employment.
