About the Role
The Senior Manager, Commercial Finance provides strategic financial leadership and business partnership to Sales and Marketing. This role drives financial planning, forecasting, pricing strategy, margin optimization, performance analysis, and commercial decision-making to align business strategies with financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to support pricing strategies, margin achievement, and delivery of revenue and profit objectives.
- Lead analysis and management of margin and product mix performance across the business.
- Provide strategic support for pricing management, promotional investments, trade spending, and customer business development initiatives.
- Conduct ROI analysis, customer pricing evaluations, win/loss assessments, and competitive analysis.
- Manage financial planning and reporting activities, including annual operating plans, forecasting, business performance reviews, KPI development, financial modeling, and commercial reporting.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting systems and business intelligence tools.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to develop and execute analytical projects.
- Develop, monitor, and improve forecasting processes, sales funnels, activity trackers, budget management tools, and performance scorecards.
- Deliver actionable revenue insights and financial recommendations.
- Leverage data analytics to evaluate customer, regional, and product performance.
- Develop and implement meaningful KPIs and reporting frameworks.
- Drive harmonization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across Finance processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Lead, coach, and develop direct reports.

- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies, Food Safety requirements, SQF standards, and internal control procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance, financial planning and analysis, and business partnering.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience at the Manager level or above.
- Minimum 3 years of Finance leadership experience within a food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environment.
- Strong understanding of consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry dynamics and commercial finance practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, forecasting, pricing analysis, business partnering, financial modeling, and performance management.
- Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation and listening abilities.
- Results-oriented with exceptional attention to detail, initiative, accountability, and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated success driving innovation, continuous improvement, process optimization, and organizational change.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Power BI, and other business intelligence and financial reporting tools.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
