About the Role

We are hiring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to provide in-home therapy services for children and young adults with developmental and functional needs. Angels of Care is a clinician-owned and operated organization that has proudly served the medically fragile community since 2000.

Responsibilities

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision
  • Provide interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and development
  • Support patients in achieving functional independence goals
  • Educate and empower families and caregivers for carryover in daily routines
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Document care in an electronic medical record system
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising OT

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license (Texas)
  • Graduate of an accredited OTA program
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must submit a resume to be considered for this position
