About the Role

The Circular Material Innovations (CMI) team manages packaging data, regulatory reporting, and waste diversion programs. The team identifies and delivers circular business and operational opportunities, aiming to improve data quality, reduce costs, risks, and environmental impact. The ideal candidate will own the administrative and data foundations of the team, ensuring smooth operations and managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate data collection, tracking, and organization across multiple programs.
  • Support vendor outreach, follow-ups, and data validation for accuracy and completion.
  • Prepare data for presentations and regulatory reporting.
  • Maintain files, trackers, and documentation for audit-ready data.
  • Support monthly operational tasks, including invoice tracking, accruals, and reporting.
  • Improve workflows and reduce manual work through AI and automation.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of administrative or coordinator experience (in-school & internship experience considered).
  • Excellent Excel and data management skills, with experience handling large datasets and multiple platforms/software.
  • Attention to detail, process, and operational efficiencies.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Clear communication style, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Positive attitude and self-starting mindset.
  • Background in data management, accounting, product stewardship, retail, and/or merchandising is considered an asset.
