About the Role
Apply data science and analytics to mission-critical problems for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Collaborate with a team to transform complex geospatial datasets into actionable insights using modern Python-based tools in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytic models and data processing workflows for structured and unstructured datasets.
- Clean, filter, transform, and enrich data for exploratory and production analytics.
- Build visualizations and dashboards for exploratory and comparative analysis.
- Support integration of analytic capabilities into program systems.
- Collaborate with analysts and Product Owners to refine requirements into solutions.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and model behavior.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and meet sprint and PI commitments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of data science or analytics experience.
- Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with willingness to undergo polygraph examination.
- Exposure to geospatial data and tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, GeoPandas).
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and model deployment.
- Experience operating within SAFe or Agile delivery frameworks.
