About the Role
Metropolis Logistics LLC is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as DOT Delivery Drivers in Elmsford, NY. This role involves delivering packages in a DOT-regulated box truck.
Responsibilities
- Drive a DOT regulated box truck delivering 60 - 70 packages a day
- Handle large bulky products utilizing proper equipment with weights ranging from 50 - 300 LBS (team lift)
- Work 3 or more days per week and up to 10 hours per day including breaks with shifts available 7 days a week
- Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old (Driver role)
- Must have eligibility to work in the United States
- Must have a valid driver's license (Deliver Driver role; Non CDL Driver’s License ok)
- Adhere to yard safety policies
- Obey all applicable traffic laws
- Drive in accordance with weather/road conditions
- Current/valid DOT Medical Certificate preferred
- Must speak English
- Driving experience in Manhattan is a plus!
