About the Role
The New Development Project Manager will report to the Senior Project Manager - New Development and be responsible for expanding Honest’s Gigabit Internet Network into new development apartment complexes in NYC and occasionally in NJ, CT and/or PA. This role requires collaboration with real estate partners, construction trades, and internal teams to ensure quality and timely builds.
Responsibilities
- Ensure successful execution against construction metrics and reporting tools.
- Organize and maintain a clean and efficient job site, planning tasks in advance to minimize downtime.
- Create build plans/schematics for Field Technicians.
- Provide technical guidance and in-field support for network builds.
- Coordinate across functions, including network engineers, operations, and account executives.
- Maintain a friendly and professional appearance when interacting with customers and building owners/managers.
Requirements
- Based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or Pennsylvania).
- At least 1 year of experience in telecommunications, managing teams building internet networks in urban commercial and apartment/MDU environments.
- Capable of installing, terminating, and troubleshooting ethernet (cat5/6) and fiber.
- Ability to operate OTDR, Light Meter, VFL, and other fiber equipment/tools.
- Very good understanding of building construction, including identifying PT floors and riser vs plenum environments.

- Fixed wireless and fiber experience preferred
- Ethernet (cat5/6) installation, termination, and troubleshooting
- Fiber optic equipment operation (OTDR, Light Meter, VFL)
- Fixed wireless radio deployment (e.g. Siklu, Bridgewave) preferred
- DC power systems knowledge a bonus
- Building construction understanding
- Design schematic creation preferred
- Project management software experience (e.g. Asana, Monday.com) preferred
- OSHA 30/40 strongly preferred
- ISP/telecommunications experience preferred
