About the Role

We are looking for a versatile Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing all hotel equipment, including kitchen, laundry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and guest rooms, with minimal downtime. This role requires proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment with minimum downtime.
• Install and replace light fixtures and bulbs.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and check/repair equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure proper use and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials, and complete required reporting accurately.
• Secure the building, monitor and reset security systems, repair locks, and maintain building keys.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of trade-related and/or training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to collaborate within a diverse team dynamic.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
