About the Role
CBI Home Health is seeking Health Care Aides to support clients in remaining safe and independent within their community settings, enabling them to live their best lives. This role involves providing personal care, assisting with mobilization and light exercises, and potentially performing light housekeeping tasks as per client care plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients in their home.
- Assist clients with mobilization and performing light exercises.
- Observe, document, and report any changes in client condition to your Manager/Supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.
Requirements
- Active License and in good standing with the CLHA.
- A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months.
- Proof of a negative TB test within your lifetime.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Commitment to work every other weekend.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg).
Skills
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in other languages is an asset.
- Reliability.
