About the Role
CBI Home Health is seeking dedicated Health Care Aides to provide essential support to clients in their homes and community settings, enabling them to live safely and independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients in their home.
- Assist clients with mobilization and light exercises.
- Observe, document, and report any changes in client condition to Manager/Supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.
Requirements
- Active License and in good standing with the CLHA.
- A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months.
- Proof of a negative TB test within your lifetime.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Commitment to work every other weekend.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg).
Skills
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in other languages is an asset.
- Reliability.
