About the Role
CBI Home Health is seeking Health Care Aides to support clients in remaining safe and independent within their community settings. This role involves providing personal care, assisting with mobilization and light exercises, observing and reporting client condition changes, and potentially performing light housekeeping tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients in their home.
- Assist clients to mobilize and perform light exercises.
- Observe, document, and report any changes in client condition to Manager/Supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.
Requirements
- Active License and in good standing with the CLHA.
- A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months.
- Proof of a negative TB test within your lifetime.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Commitment to work every other weekend.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg).
