About the Role

The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our facility, ensuring a clean and orderly environment for guests and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
  • Maintain orderly and clean work area.
  • Restock and replenish supplies as appropriate.
  • Assist in emergency cleaning.
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and other work areas.
  • Wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets daily and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Clean lunchroom daily, including washing tables, sinks, counters, and removing trash.
  • Clean washrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors, and replenish bathroom supplies.
  • Keep the front, dock, and rear areas of the building swept and free of debris.
  • Remove and discard all items not approved for permanent storage.
  • Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
  • Comply with safety and GMP requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Use of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
  • Ability to frequently be exposed to herbal aromas, dust, and/or airborne particles.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age per state law.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Involves sitting, walking and lifting less than 10 pounds for long periods of time throughout the day.
  • Able to bend for many work tasks, and stand on and climb ladders.
  • Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance.
  • Comfortable working with scissors and/or pruning shears.
  • Normal hearing range required.
  • Work is performed in a fast-paced cannabis grow location.
