About the Role
The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our facility, ensuring a clean and orderly environment for guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
- Maintain orderly and clean work area.
- Restock and replenish supplies as appropriate.
- Assist in emergency cleaning.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and other work areas.
- Wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets daily and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Clean lunchroom daily, including washing tables, sinks, counters, and removing trash.
- Clean washrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors, and replenish bathroom supplies.
- Keep the front, dock, and rear areas of the building swept and free of debris.
- Remove and discard all items not approved for permanent storage.
- Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
- Comply with safety and GMP requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Use of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
- Ability to frequently be exposed to herbal aromas, dust, and/or airborne particles.
- Must be at least 21 years of age per state law.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Involves sitting, walking and lifting less than 10 pounds for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Able to bend for many work tasks, and stand on and climb ladders.
- Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance.
- Comfortable working with scissors and/or pruning shears.
- Normal hearing range required.
- Work is performed in a fast-paced cannabis grow location.
