About the Role
The individuals selected for this position are responsible for monitoring and supervising a team’s efficiency and ensuring company goals and objectives are being met by each employee. Candidates must understand and execute subordinates job functions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor employee productivity and performance expectations
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments
- Ability to learn and perform subordinates job descriptions included but not limited to warehouse associates, driver, and cleaning crew
- Maintain and teach organization skills
- Responsible for inventory integrity
- Responsible for vehicle maintenance
- Responsible for on-time customer order delivery
- Ensure product replenishment for daily volume needs
- Partner with upper management for employee coaching and training
- Create a weekly or by-weekly schedule for employees
- Monitor and supervise employee's attendance and punctuality
- Efficiently carrying out all the directives given by Management Team
- Ensures a clean workplace
- Working in accordance with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA
- Possess time management skills and be able to prioritizes tasks and meet the demands of the day
- Availability to travel to local and state facilities as required
- Attendance and Timeliness is required
Requirements
- State law says you must be over the age of 21 to work at Spec’s
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper tools
- Must be able to use a industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds

- Proven experience in Operations as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within e-commerce or distribution center with KPI and customer service skills
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry picker/reach machine and other warehouse machinery safely
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and operational processes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and other departments
