About the Role
This position is a head teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, following the School District Calendar from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Managing a classroom of preschool-aged children in a UPK program.
- Creating and implementing lesson plans.
- Managing the classroom environment.
- Ensuring all children are meeting developmental milestones.
- Working closely with other teachers and staff to create a positive and engaging learning experience.
- Ensuring the program meets all state and local regulations.
- Communicating with parents and guardians about their child's progress and any concerns.
Requirements
- Must have valid NYS teaching certification.
