About the Role
Checkr is seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to own the positioning and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for their fraud detection and identity risk solutions. This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on ambiguity and can move fast with rigor.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end GTM strategy across Checkr’s fraud detection and identity risk portfolio and specialized verification products.
- Develop Checkr’s fraud narrative, connecting fast-moving trends with Checkr’s differentiated position and translating it into crisp, compelling messaging for mid-market and enterprise buyers.
- Ensure sales and partnership teams understand buyer challenges and equip them with playbooks, talking points, and collateral for consultative deals.
- Own market, customer, and competitive intelligence, translating signals into GTM strategy, pricing input, and product roadmap influence.
- Represent Checkr in customer meetings and industry events as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- 6+ years of B2B product marketing experience.
- Experience marketing to HR buyers is a strong plus.
- Background in fraud detection, identity verification, risk, compliance, or security is a strong plus.
- A track record of owning complex GTM programs end-to-end, including strategy, planning, and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at the executive level, influencing roadmap decisions and earning credibility.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a gift for persuasive storytelling.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- AI fluency and ability to leverage tools for efficiency.
- An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action, raising the bar, moving with urgency, and staying resilient.

- $191,000—$225,000 USD (San Francisco, CA)
- $162,000—$190,000 USD (Denver, CO)
