About the Role

Manages practice activities and assigned operational areas, typically in one location with a single line of oncology business or in multiple locations with six or less physicians. Assists with the development of practice objectives to ensure financial profitability through short and long range planning in order to achieve and maintain growth. Continually evaluates practice strategies and plans to meet changing national, state, and local needs, in conjunction with executive leadership team. Supports and adheres to the practice’s Core Values, Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and establishes policies, procedures, and objectives, ensuring their adequate execution, compliance, and updates.
  • Analyzes business conditions related to operational issues and advises supervisor.
  • Oversees the development of systems (manual and automated) to support practice-wide activities.
  • Coordinates hardware and software requirements for existing and future systems.
  • Promotes effective communication and information flow within the practice.
  • Oversees the preparation and maintenance of management reports.
  • Prepares periodic reports as necessary or required.
  • Oversees practice compliance with appropriate accreditation body standards.
  • Oversees development and coordination of new office locations and their needs.
  • Oversees all site staff in conjunction with department leaders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum seven years’ experience in healthcare management.
  • At least two years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Requires sitting for long periods of time.
  • Some bending and stretching required.
  • Adequate finger dexterity and feeling to perform keyboarding and substantial repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Requires vision and hearing corrected to normal range.
  • Must be able to view computer screen and printed material accurately.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.

Salary/Compensations

  • $110,000 - $120,000 per year
