About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Control Intern to join our Target Rock team in the Inspection Department. This individual must help prioritize and 6S department needs and be capable of learning how to inspect raw materials, semifinal, and finished-machined parts for compliance with engineering drawings and/or company specifications before they are assembled into a finished product.

Responsibilities

  • Help prioritize and 6S department needs.
  • Learn how to inspect raw materials, semifinal, and finished-machined parts for compliance with engineering drawings and/or company specifications.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Apply inspection standards.
  • Comprehend inspection processes and procedures.
  • Complete required company paperwork.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • High school or trade school graduate (minimum).
  • Working knowledge of inspection tools.
  • Capable of reading and understanding engineering blueprints and specifications.
