About the Role

Lead and support inventory management and merchandising standards, ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store for customers. Assist customers in finding products and provide friendly service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Company programs.
  • Manage and support truck processes and lead teams to ensure standards are met.
  • Manage, execute, and support planogram (POG’s) and AD set processes.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Maintain seasonal sets and feature space to visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training new Team members.
  • Support Talent Development activities and participate in Performance Management.
  • Utilize leadership competencies for continued self-development.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
  • Promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values.
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate product, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes.
  • Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Retail merchandising and customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Applicants in Canada must satisfy federal, provincial, and local legal requirements of the job.
