About the Role
Lead and support inventory management and merchandising standards, ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store for customers. Assist customers in finding products and provide friendly service.
Responsibilities
- Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Company programs.
- Manage and support truck processes and lead teams to ensure standards are met.
- Manage, execute, and support planogram (POG’s) and AD set processes.
- Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Maintain seasonal sets and feature space to visual merchandising standards.
- Assist with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training new Team members.
- Support Talent Development activities and participate in Performance Management.
- Utilize leadership competencies for continued self-development.
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
- Promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values.
- Acknowledge customers, help locate product, and provide solutions.
- Assist with Omni channel processes.
- Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Retail merchandising and customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
- Applicants in Canada must satisfy federal, provincial, and local legal requirements of the job.
