About the Role
Support the Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) and divisional leadership team in coordinating divisional priorities, managing stakeholder communications, and reporting on strategic initiatives. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CPCO on all matters relating to the running of the People and Culture function.
- Lead the development of the divisional strategy in collaboration with the leadership team and enterprise strategy functions.
- Manage the effective coordination and reporting of People and Culture strategic initiatives and performance.
- Plan and coordinate Human Resources leadership team meetings, strategy reviews, business plan reviews, and budget reviews.
- Demonstrate flexibility for tasks/initiatives that assist the CPCO in delivering on the business plan, strategic objectives, and commitments to the Managing Director or the Board.
- Provide oversight and reporting on Human Resources strategic projects to support successful delivery of strategic priorities.
- Support the CPCO in managing Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) compliance, including managing the delivery and recording/storage of key documents evidencing Reasonable Steps.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant business discipline.
- Detailed understanding of business operations in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, particularly delivering on business plans, strategic objectives, and commitments to Senior Leadership.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret data, identify patterns, trends, and links.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and impactful presentations.
- Demonstrates experience in solving complex business issues.
- High attention to detail, completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy.
- Ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
