About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare the aircraft for takeoff, ensuring safety, smoothness, and comfort.
- Greet customers with genuine warmth and maintain a positive energy.
- Deliver announcements and information with personality and professionalism.
- Create a friendly, calm, and comfortable environment for passengers.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed and support fellow cabin crew.
- Provide snack, meal, and beverage service, including managing onboard product sales.
- Assist customers with in-flight entertainment and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Help with carry-on stowage, seating changes, and passenger comfort needs.
- Handle onboard incidents and emergencies with confidence and care.
- Respond to medical situations and administer First Aid when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and tidy cabin.
- Act as a brand ambassador by sharing feedback and contributing to the Rouge experience.
- Complete required safety and service reports after each flight.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma obtained.
- Valid Canadian passport with no travel restrictions.
- Reside within 90 minutes of Toronto Pearson International Airport or be willing to relocate.
- Ability to obtain Transport Canada security clearance.
- Access to the internet for scheduling and communications.
- Comfortable working at high altitudes in a pressurized cabin.
- Meet Air Canada Rouge medical standards, including passing a medical evaluation and drug/alcohol test.
- Successfully complete a 6-week, full-time Flight Attendant Initial Technical Training Program in Vancouver.
Skills
- Proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in at least one additional language: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Greek, Italian, Hebrew, Japanese, German, Punjabi, Hindi, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Tagalog, or Thai.
- Preference for candidates fluent in both English and French.
