About the Role

cb20 is seeking a Field Services Technician to install access points and complete physical and wireless site surveys. This role involves inventory management, ticket handling, and asset recording during installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and support wireless access points at customer locations.
• Manage all on-site installations.
• Perform all on-site activities related to installation, configuration, and testing.
• Complete physical and wireless site surveys at customer locations.
• Prepare and update work orders, expense reports, and time sheets.
• Act as a liaison between the cb20 team and the customer.
• Travel to customer locations and maintain a flexible work schedule, including potential after-hours or early morning installations.
• Operate a company vehicle and maintain equipment stock.

Requirements

• AAS degree in computer science preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience with field services support and network cabling.
• 2+ years of experience with PC systems, related peripherals, structured cabling, common software programs, and operating systems.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to follow standards as outlined in the cb20 Company Manual.
• Ability to thoroughly and accurately perform inventory and asset recording and complete required paperwork.
• Ability to travel, including weekend departures, off-hours travel, and frequent overnight stays.
• Ability to perform final configuration tasks on customer premises.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
