About the Role
This is a brand new role created due to continued growth, requiring an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the commercial and technical pricing of complex, high-value maintenance and FM opportunities. You will report to the Head of Estimating, take ownership of significant work-winning opportunities, and collaborate with operational, commercial, and bid colleagues to develop competitive and deliverable solutions. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to Leeds or London Head Office. You will join a collaborative estimating team focused on mutual support and shared success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end estimating process on large, complex, and strategic FM tenders and frameworks.
- Develop first-principles cost models that are accurate, compliant, and commercially robust.
- Analyze tender documentation, asset data, and service requirements to shape competitive, deliverable solutions.
- Own risk and opportunity evaluation, embedding it into pricing and submission strategy.
- Drive win themes and differentiators alongside Solutions Directors and the Proposals team.
- Present pricing strategies and outputs at internal governance reviews and senior stakeholder meetings.
- Lead a structured handover into delivery teams post-award.
Requirements
- Established estimating professional with a proven track record in Hard FM.
- Comfortable leading strategic bids and shaping winning strategies.
- Strong working experience of SFG20 maintenance standards and asset-based pricing methodologies.
- Experience with CCS, Government, or other public sector framework tendering.
- Proven track record of winning large, complex FM tenders and frameworks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
