About the Role

Material Handlers work closely with Distribution, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to maintain an organized, compliant, and audit-ready material management system.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, move, and stage materials in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions.
  • Verify materials against documentation (labels, packing slips, work orders).
  • Store materials in designated locations following FIFO/FEFO and material status controls.
  • Issue materials to production using approved transactions and documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in assigned areas.
  • Operate manual material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks); forklift operation as trained.
  • Comply with cGMP, safety, security, and site policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMP requirements.
  • Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
  • Forklift or powered industrial truck certification.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
  • Knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements.
  • Experience handling temperature-sensitive or hazardous materials.
  • Works under direct supervision.
  • Performs routine, repetitive tasks using established procedures.
  • Developing knowledge of GMP material handling requirements.

  • Operation of material handling equipment is required.
