About the Role
Fever is seeking a Regional Manager for Australia + New Zealand to lead a team in developing, launching, and managing events. This role involves P&L responsibility, team development, building industry connections, and representing Fever across cities. You will collaborate with other departments to define regional growth strategies and ensure event scalability.
Responsibilities
- Create and lead a team to develop, launch, and manage events from inception to completion.
- Manage the region's P&L, team development, and local industry connections.
- Represent Fever across all managed cities.
- Define regional growth strategy in collaboration with other departments.
- Define the scalability of events to other markets, working with other Regional Managers and company leadership.
- Build and manage the regional team (Project Managers, Producers, Location Scouters) to drive growth.
- Ensure individual team members meet quarterly quality and revenue goals through regular performance audits.
- Define the region's growth strategy focusing on sales performance, customer excellence, and operational quality.
- Manage the local portfolio of experiences using data analysis to increase Fever's market penetration.
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with C-level executives from major entertainment companies.
- Manage major local partners and expand the local network.
- Negotiate and close business deals with partners.
- Define and support the scalability of experiences in other cities, with potential for travel.
- Report performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to local team members.
- Execute detailed analysis of business opportunities and processes.
- Represent Fever at local events and industry conversations.
Requirements
- Project management, startup, or consulting background with 10+ years of experience.
- MBA from a top-tier school preferred.
- Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Extensive team management experience.
- Solution-focused with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience managing complex projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with C-level executives.
- Ability to influence and persuade staff at all levels.
- Capability to coordinate and audit internal and external teams.
- Extensive networking skills and ability to forge partnerships.
- Advanced commercial acumen, including understanding counterparties, finding leverage, and negotiating high-value deals.
- Curious and willing to push boundaries and try new concepts.
- Ability to handle a large workload and multiple parallel work-streams.
- Not a position for an event production background.
