About the Role
Forum Asset Management is seeking Software Developer Interns to build data-driven applications that power decision-making across its investment and real estate platforms. Interns will work on full-stack development projects, contributing to internal tools, APIs, and user-facing applications that transform complex data into actionable insights. This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with data engineers, investment professionals, and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal web applications and tools used across the business
- Build and integrate APIs that connect to data platforms and external systems
- Collaborate with data engineers to consume and utilize structured datasets
- Contribute to UI/UX improvements for internal dashboards and tools
- Assist in automating workflows and improving system efficiency
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java)
- Basic understanding of APIs, web development, and software design principles
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
