About the Role

This role will oversee and ensure the stable operation of the organization’s network architectures, including LAN, SD-WAN & Cloud networks, internet connectivity, and their security. This involves planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, monitoring, and optimizing all networking hardware and software, as well as designing and implementing secure, modern network solutions to support the global IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technical projects and take overall responsibility for network implementations and support.
  • Lead continuous improvements with respect to network security hardening in coordination with the IT Security team.
  • Develop and design processes for network infrastructure deployment and configuration.
  • Provide service improvements to enhance day-to-day operational efficiency.
  • Lead installation and perform configuration, administration, and support for hardware and software for LAN, SD-WAN & Cloud networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, network monitoring tools and services, and cabling.
  • Detect and manage network faults and performance issues in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Implement monitoring services and alerts to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide L2 support for the network environment and business application connectivity.
  • Support root cause analysis, investigations, and resolution of operational incidents.
  • Prepare, maintain, and communicate documentation of network designs and architecture.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to other team members in their knowledge of networks & network security fundamentals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network design and implementation of enterprise IT network infrastructure.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and support of large-scale, mission-critical enterprise networks in a global, 24x7 operating environment.
  • Working experience of current network environments (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, Cloud).
  • Working experience with Cisco switches and routers, network applications, routing, switching, firewalls and related protocols.
  • Working experience with enterprise wireless networks including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Working experience with network fault isolation tools and protocols.
  • Advanced knowledge of ITIL incident management, problem, and change management.
  • Advanced knowledge of network provider/carrier services, network engineering (hardware and software), network design and planning.
  • Advanced knowledge of network tools used in supporting multi-platform environments, troubleshooting network-related problems, monitoring capacity, performance, security, and availability.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Conflict management within different organizations.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform job functions under pressure.
  • Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations.
