About the Role

As a Datacenter Solution Engineer, you will join the Global Service Installation Team to build a world-class service organization. You will be responsible for the physical installation of server hardware, network equipment, and cabling, while providing technical support and break-fix services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical installation, rack and stack, cabling, and networking of data center hardware
• Assist in the implementation of server, storage, and network equipment
• Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure seamless hardware integration
• Verify hardware installation against technical specifications
• Perform quality checks and functional testing post-installation
• Provide first-line technical support via telephone, email, and ticketing systems
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams
• Travel internationally and locally for customer installations and onsite troubleshooting
• Work occasional extended hours and weekends as required

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in servicing complex X86 systems and components in a datacenter environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good understanding of Windows and Linux environments
• Demonstrated hardware system analytics and diagnostics skills
• Understanding of how BIOS, drivers, and application loads impact system performance
• Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong teamwork and escalation capabilities
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade server hardware
• Residency within a 40 km radius of 's-Hertogenbosch
