About the Role

A long-only, multi-billion dollar mid-cap equity fund seeks an experienced analyst to join a small team of generalist investment professionals committed to rigorous, research-driven investing. The strategy focuses on companies with resilient cash flow, attractive reinvestment opportunities, and aligned management teams, with a concentrated portfolio and low turnover. Analysts cover multiple sectors, requiring deep understanding of business models and industry dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Continuous and disciplined involvement in the research process.
  • Capability to influence portfolio construction and take ownership of investment performance.
  • Building and maintaining detailed financial models, including proprietary forecasts and valuation-based screening.
  • Analyzing fundamental performance of companies and industry sectors, sharing investment insights.
  • Engaging with management teams, consultants, analysts, and industry experts.
  • Preparing research reports on companies owned or under consideration.
  • Collaborating with team members to gather data for internal and external presentation materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years in buy-side or sell-side equity research or a related field.
  • Excellent quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate with teams.
  • Demonstrated successful investment track record (preferred).
  • MBA and/or CFA (preferred).

  • $170,000 - $210,000 per year
