About the Role

DashMart is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to support Site Management in running shifts and delegating tasks within a local fulfillment center. This role involves fulfilling orders in a warehouse environment, maintaining inventory, and potentially preparing food in a light-prep kitchen. You will be responsible for warehouse and kitchen processes, safety, cleanliness, quality, and training, while ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and Dasher pickups are smooth. You will also guide Operations Associates, serve as an escalation point, and contribute ideas for operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned shifts, including warehouse and kitchen processes, safety/cleanliness, quality, and training.
  • Maintain accountability for inventory, equipment, and other company assets.
  • Ensure customer orders are delivered with high quality by executing orders accurately.
  • Communicate with customers when issues arise.
  • Make sure Dasher pickups go smoothly.
  • Guide Operations Associates through their shift by ensuring the team works safely and productively.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for daily operations.
  • Support operations in both the warehouse and kitchen.
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks and lead by example.
  • Engage in professional and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Ensure a positive and safe atmosphere in the warehouse.
  • Provide a high-quality experience for customers.
  • Contribute ideas to improve quality and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, positive, and a team player with high integrity.
  • Proven track record of success in food and beverage, warehouse, and/or retail environments.
  • Able to be on your feet and move heavy products.
  • Physically able (with or without accommodation) to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
  • Ability and desire to obtain and maintain a food handling certificate.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
  • Flexibility in schedule to be available for a number of different shifts a week.
