About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Animation Producer to lead the development and production of a 2D animation series. You will manage a team and oversee all stages of development, production, and post-production, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. This role requires balancing business and creative aspects, coordinating with global teams, and negotiating with vendors.
Responsibilities
- Produce 2D animation series.
- Source, negotiate, and manage animation studios.
- Juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Demonstrate strong technical understanding of the animation pipeline.
- Set up and manage preliminary budgets and production/post schedules.
- Ensure productions adhere to critical assumptions.
- Interact with clients.
- Work with multiple vendors and departments.
- Oversee production processes and personnel from development through delivery.
- Support creative, finance, legal, and general management departments.
- Review production and post-management aspects, including budgets and schedules.
- Track execution of programming plans and production progress.
- Employ a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Maintain budgets across all shows.
- Manage teams effectively with organization and motivation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Producer and/or film and television production management.
- Expert scheduling ability with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to generate high-quality material in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to respond to rapidly changing priorities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills.
- Ability to interact with all personality types and work cross-functionally.
- Experience working and negotiating with vendors.
