About the Role

Aperture is seeking a Marketing, Content, and Events Manager to own the company's internal marketing efforts. This role focuses on growing Aperture's brand, audience, community, and industry presence, rather than working on client accounts. It requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, from filming and editing to event planning and content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage Aperture's content calendar.
  • Write and edit LinkedIn posts.
  • Create video content.
  • Develop repeatable content formats and series.
  • Repurpose events, talks, and conversations into multiple content pieces.
  • Publish content consistently and track performance.
  • Develop event ideas.
  • Source venues, suppliers, speakers, and partners for events.
  • Manage event budgets, guest lists, invitations, and logistics.
  • Oversee event execution and ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Capture content before, during, and after events.
  • Build relationships within the app, technology, and marketing industries.
  • Build and deliver Aperture's marketing plan.
  • Identify internal stories suitable for sharing.
  • Identify partnership, podcast, award, and speaking opportunities.
  • Showcase Aperture's work, team, expertise, and culture.
  • Test new content formats and channels.
  • Track audience growth, engagement, inbound interest, and event outcomes.
  • Create systems to maintain marketing organization and momentum.
