About the Role

As an Applied AI Engineer, you will have a founder-level mandate to build and ship AI-powered internal tools that make hiring, finance, and ops workflows 10x faster. You will work at the frontier of LLMs, AI agents, and emerging AI tooling, applying it to internal company processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI-powered internal tools rapidly.
• Evaluate, integrate, and chain the latest AI models, APIs, and frameworks into production-ready internal solutions.
• Create compounding leverage by building tools that free up company-wide hours.
• Write clean, maintainable code that integrates with existing systems and scales.
• Own deployments end-to-end: build, test, ship, and monitor solutions for reliable operation.

Requirements

• Technical background with proven building experience (CS degree, bootcamp, self-taught).
• Experience building with modern AI tooling (LLMs, AI coding assistants, workflow automation).
• Startup or entrepreneurial DNA, demonstrated through founding, building critical internal tools, or creating widely used hacked-together solutions.
• Ability to move fast, communicate clearly, and collaborate with non-technical teams.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
• Bonus: experience with tools like Make, n8n, Retool, Supabase, or similar.
