About the Role
The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of customer-based projects across divisions including aluminum, Division 8, Division 10, and Division 28. This role focuses on effective communication, problem resolution, and coordination with internal teams and external clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope and objectives while ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Report and escalate incidents to management.
- Manage relationships with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors.
- Delegate project tasks to appropriate resources.
- Enforce quality control standards.
- Coordinate and attend site meetings per customer requirements.
- Perform routine site inspections for quality, scope, compliance, and safety.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Complete project close-out documentation and activities.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current and valid US driver’s license.
- 1-3 years of experience in construction, Division 8, Division 10, or aluminum storefront industries.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and reaching.
- Ability to travel occasionally for business.
Skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Professional, and Outlook.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
- Self-motivated and proactive work ethic.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
