About the Role
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant and Cashier with a passion for food and a positive attitude to join our Kitchen team on a casual basis. This role involves providing friendly and efficient front-of-house service, processing payments, and supporting staff and players while upholding high standards of hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Serve food and drink buffet style, providing excellent customer service to staff, players, and visitors.
- Operate the till and process card payments accurately, tracking staff food spend and maintaining clear records.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, upholding club policies, health and safety, food hygiene, and safeguarding procedures.
- Support the team in restocking front-of-house areas and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
- Ensure the safety of others, maintain confidentiality, and comply with nutrition, sanitation, and industry hygiene standards.
- Assist in other areas as required, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar kitchen environment or a customer-facing/food service role.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive team player attitude.
- Proficiency in handling transactions and using a POS system.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Adaptability to change and ability to prioritize workloads under pressure.
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and early mornings.
