About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in business intelligence and strategic analytics to contribute to the growth of Avail. This role serves as a key liaison between data and business decisions, driving data-informed strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Avail business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into analytical problems.
- Collaborate with the team to identify data sources and build analytical data layers if needed.
- Conduct end-to-end data analysis, including data collection, ETL, analysis, and delivery of insights.
- Serve as the Business Intelligence expert, owning KPI development, measurement, tracking, and reporting.
- Monitor KPIs, perform deep-dive analyses to explain trends, and identify opportunities.
- Own and run regular business performance reporting and contribute analytics content to business reviews.
- Build automated reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Mixpanel.
- Develop and promote self-service solutions to empower stakeholders with data access.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis using various data sources.
- Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, financial modeling, forecasting, and opportunity sizing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or Data/Business Analytics.
- 6+ years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- 6+ years of SQL proficiency.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and ad hoc analysis.
- Strong ability to work with complex data sets and perform EDA, descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses.
- Experience with cloud-based data environments such as Snowflake and AWS.
- Significant experience creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Mixpanel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Proven experience using data and analytics to drive revenue and business KPIs proactively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, responding to urgent data requests, and adapting to changing business needs.
