About the Role
Join our school social work team at the Walter-Gropius-Schule in Berlin-Neukölln to support and empower students. You will develop programs for middle school students, assist with daily challenges, and contribute to a positive school environment within an experienced team.
Responsibilities
- Conducting class-based activities to foster social skills
- Developing creative and movement-oriented leisure and group activities
- Advising students, parents, and teachers
- Providing support during conflicts and crisis situations
- Fulfilling the duty of care in cases of child endangerment
- Collaborating with the youth welfare office and other cooperation partners
Requirements
- Educator, social pedagogue (social pedagogy), social worker (social work), childhood pedagogue, pedagogue
- Motivation and interest in developing and implementing projects
- Enjoyment of working with a diverse student body
- Foreign language skills are welcome but not required

- Starting salary from €2,546 for 30 hours per week, analogous to TVL SuE
