About the Role
Taskrabbit connects busy people with local Taskers for home services. The Tasker Operations team manages the Tasker experience, focusing on quality, pricing, and utilization. This role is key to balancing Tasker supply and demand in a region, owning strategy for supply health and fulfillment, and influencing client-facing recommendations. It requires a hands-on approach, data-driven decision-making, and proactive engagement with Taskers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the operational owner of Taskrabbit supply in the UK, monitoring performance and health metrics.
- Ensure the quality of the recommendation set provided to clients.
- Oversee supply lifecycles, programs, and communications for a continuous flow of Taskers and strong fulfillment.
- Partner with management to set market strategy to drive invoices and revenue.
- Use data to drive decisions, develop dashboards and analyses, and identify issues for escalation.
- Run experiments to drive impact in the region.
- Develop and execute tactical plays (communications, etc.) based on supply needs and market insights.
- Own playbooks to scale successful initiatives beyond local metros.
- Coach and grow the Tasker base through in-person and virtual engagements.
- Ensure consistent delivery of lifecycle programs and enablement content.
- Lead local community engagement and mentor peers on coaching techniques.
- Partner with the Senior Supply Specialist to address supply gaps.
- Align Taskers with Taskrabbit processes, standards, and tools.
- Serve as a product and process expert, influencing roadmap priorities and advocating for bug fixes.
- Build automation or AI-powered tools to scale impact.
- Build cross-functional relationships to advocate for Taskers and drive outcomes.
- Take on strategic ownership beyond core scope, leading regional or company-wide programs.
- Champion culture and values, keeping local operations aligned with global standards.
- Travel up to 10% for team and metro-specific events.
- Adapt to evolving business needs and take on other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English.
- 6+ years in marketplace operations, program management, or customer success.
- Track record of taking on progressively larger scope with measurable impact.
- Advanced, independent data user with strong SQL/Sigma skills.
- Seasoned strategist who builds, executes, and measures initiatives.
- Hands-on operator comfortable moving between strategy and execution.
- Confident and highly effective communicator.
- Genuinely energized by talking with Taskers.
- Naturally curious and resourceful.
- Self-starter and low-ego collaborator.
- Energized by the challenge of growing markets and driving innovative solutions.
- Deeply customer-centric, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Marketplace or gig-economy background (nice to have).
